This is a weekly 1-hour class led by FIDE Chess Master William Schill that occurs every Friday from 4pm to 5pm PST. We hold this class on Zoom, which is accessed via weblink. This class is intended for Intermediate II level students.

CLASS STRUCTURE

Class starts at 4pm PST. The first half of the class is spent going over the topical lesson of the day and then an activity such as a simul or a moderated tournament. This is an excellent opportunity for the students to work with a master level coach and get individual feedback on their play.

ABOUT THE COACH

Coach Bill is a FIDE Chess Master and two -time Washington State Champion who is still active in chess competition. He’s been teaching his students his winning strategies for over 18 years. Coach Bill’s lessons are very interactive. He has an excellent knowledge of chess openings which he uses for his instructive lessons full of “guess the move” puzzles for his students.

IS THIS CLASS IS RIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD?

This class is intended for intermediate II level students. Intermediate II students will have a Lichess.org rating of approximately 1500-1900. To achieve this, the chess skills needed include tactical understanding and awareness, fluent understanding of basic checkmating patterns, opening principles and techniques for winning basic endgames. PAYMENT, REFUND & CANCELATION POLICY

This class is $99/month billed on the first of each month. If you sign up in the middle of the month, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the month. If you are unsatisfied after your first class, you will receive a full refund. You can cancel, pause or renew your membership at anytime through your member portal, which you will be sent access to after registration.
